A performance at the programme

The programme was among prominent events hosted by the capital city to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).

The event was attended by Politburo members: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of its Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation; Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Secretary of the Ha Noi municipal Party Committee; and Tran Sy Thanh, Chairman of the Ha Noi People's Committee; among others.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Ha Noi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh affirmed that the art  programme not only honoured

the glorious history, patriotism, and revolutionary spirit, but also sent a strong message about the will of self-reliance, the desire for development,

 and the determination to continue the heroic tradition.
